(Nov. 28, 2006) The town has announced the following street closures and parking restrictions during Christmas in Davidson the evenings of Thursday, Nov. 30, through Saturday, Dec. 2:
Main Street will be closed from Main and Jackson to Main and Concord Road.

A runaway pig has been spotted repeatedly near downtown Davidson during the Thanksgiving holiday week. In the latest sighting Monday morning, the porcine escapee was rooting about near the intersection of Lorimer Road and College Street. Lorimer resident Rachel Stewart told us her family spied the pig as she walked her kids to school.
