McConnell display helps housing coalition

Sidewalks in the McConnell neighborhood were lit with festive holiday luminaria during the annual “Noel for Neighbors” holiday show Saturday, Dec. 16.
Paper bags holding flickering candles were set along the sidewalks of McConnell, adding a festive glow to the neighborhood. McConnell residents received the luminaries in exchange for donations to the Davidson Housing Coalition.

Help a child through the Angel Tree

As of Tuesday morning, Dec. 12, there were still 23 gift tags unclaimed on the Davidson “Angel Tree,” which provides holiday gifts for children and families in need.

Practice burn demolishes Spring St. home
