Davidson and other Lake Norman area towns considering buying the local cable TV and internet system plan to vote June 11 on the deal.
Davidson officials are considering a one-year moratorium on new developments in an area east of town, between N.C. 73 and East Rocky River Road. Delaying new approvals would buy the town time to develop an area plan. A public hearing on the idea is scheduled at the June 12 Town Board meeting.
The planning board tonight (Tuesday) will consider whether to recommend approval of an expansion of Davidson East, a proposed mixed-use development north of N.C. 73 and east of Ramah Church Road east of Davidson.
